FRENCH WITH ME: Original Vignettes Musing on Love and Valentine’s Day

Essex Chanel has released our 250th song! Entitled “The Good Times”, the song exhibits the melody packed arrangement style heard on Essex Chanel’s last project Love is Proximity.
“The Good Times” explores more of the Folkier/Americana side of Essex Chanel’s catalog with a big band type arrangement full of horns playing intertwining melody lines. Band leader Travis Lee Wiggins wrote, recorded, and arranged the song and brought in musicians to flush out the rest of the track. This is the first Essex Chanel track to use saxophone, clarinet, and tuba.

Everyone had a great time at our Skinny Dippin' Music Video Premiere! Erin Burke (who also did the art for the Essex Chanel t-shirts) did a great job painting a photo-booth-head-cutout piece and follow the link, where you can see all the pictures from the event! Melody Van Wagner took some great pictures!
5.13.2010 Audio & Video has been posted from Essex Chanel's last show at Uncommon Ground. Allison and Travis performed as a duo, and also through in a bunch of Dolphins Swimming Songs & A never-released Summer Salts song. Thanks to Richard Trumbo for the video!
